Race day is coming, and Flisvos can hardly wait.
A cheerful child with endless energy and curiosity, Flisvos loves to listen, explore, play and run beside the sea.
He feels right at home among the sound of the waves, the laughter of children and the excitement that fills the air before the start.
Flisvos began as a creative project by graphic design students.
He has been part of the Poseidon story since its earliest days, growing into a familiar friend as the event itself has grown.
Today, the International Poseidon Athens Half Marathon welcomes runners from around the world. In 2026, participants represented 90 nationalities and 67 countries.
Flisvos may not speak every language, but he understands the things that bring us together: the joy of movement, friendship and a shared love of the sea.
To Flisvos, every runner belongs. You might be taking part for the first time, returning for another year, aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying the journey. Whatever brings you to the start line, you are part of the Poseidon community.
As we look ahead to the 18th International Poseidon Athens Half Marathon on 25 April 2027, Flisvos has already made up his mind:
“Count me in. Woo-hoo!”
