Palaio Faliro puts on its sporting spirit and becomes a warm, open embrace for the Poseidon Half Marathon. This is far more than a road race; it is a celebration of participation, well-being, and teamwork, set against the stunning backdrop of the sea we all love.
It is truly inspiring to see athletes of all ages at the starting line, smiling and focused on their goals. To witness volunteers driving the rhythm of the event, families offering encouragement, and friends cheering from the sidelines. Every step holds a heartfelt “well done,” a personal milestone, and a shared experience that brings us closer together. This is, after all, the true essence of sport.
Running along the Athenian Riviera that graces Palaio Faliro, what remains with you is the sound of the waves, the sea breeze, and the companionship of those around you. The course takes on a meaning that goes beyond the time on the clock.
